Los Angeles has been a really good cultural experience. It’s a dog-pile of ethnicities, tightly huddling between ocean and mountain, trying to make it work together. So you get these explosions of flavors from Korea, Mexico, and Persia all in one hit. And then I learned to cook with the ingredients from the international grocery stores near our place 🙂
